Daikin Stylish indoor unit FTXA20CB, black, 7000BTU, for multisplit systems

Daikin STYLISH indoor air conditioning unit FTXA20CB, black, with inverter technology and a capacity of 7000 BTU. Built-in WLAN adapter for Wi-Fi control. Daikin Stylish units offer state-of-the-art smart technology integrated into an elegant exterior design.

Stylish comes in a range of 3 elegant colours: white, silver and matt black, with cooling capacities from 1.5 to 5.0 kW

STYLISH falls into energy efficiency class A+++ and offers a high-performance air filtration system with Flash Streamer technology and a silver particle filter.

• Using electrons to trigger chemical reactions with airborne particles, Flash Streamer breaks down allergens such as pollen and fungi and eliminates unpleasant odours, providing healthier, cleaner air.
• The silver filter for air purification and allergen removal captures allergens such as pollen to provide constantly clean air.

It can be used in heating mode at outdoor ambient temperatures in the range -15 / +24 °C

STYLISH ensures perfect comfort thanks to the 3D airflow and the 2-zone motion detection sensor. The airflow is directed to a different area from the one where the person is at that moment; if no one is detected, the unit automatically switches to energy-saving mode.

In addition, the creation of the Coandă effect by means of specially designed flaps optimises airflow in both heating and cooling modes to ensure complete coverage even in large rooms.

Together with the Coandă effect, the intelligent thermal sensor scans the room to determine occupancy and air temperature, then signals the unit either to direct the airflow away from occupants or towards areas with uneven temperature.

Advantages of using STYLISH units from Daikin

2-zone motion detection sensor. The airflow is directed to a different area from the one where the person is at that moment. If no one is detected, the unit automatically switches to the energy-saving setting.

Comfort mode. Guarantees draught-free operation by preventing warm or cold air from blowing directly onto the body.

3D air flow. Combines automatic vertical and horizontal swing to direct warm/cold air right into the corners of large spaces.

Intelligent thermal sensor. The intelligent thermal sensor determines the current room temperature and distributes air evenly throughout the room before switching to an airflow pattern that directs warm or cool air to the areas where it is needed.

Coandă effect - cooling. The Coandă effect optimises the airflow in cooling mode. Using specially designed vents, the better-defined airflow allows more efficient temperature distribution throughout the room.

Coandă effect - heating. The Coandă effect optimises the airflow in heating mode. Using specially designed vents, the better-defined airflow allows more efficient temperature distribution throughout the room.

Automatic vertical swing. Allows automatic vertical movement of the air discharge direction to be selected, for even air flow and uniform temperature distribution throughout the room.

Automatic horizontal swing. Allows automatic horizontal movement of the air discharge louvre to be selected, for even air flow and uniform temperature distribution.

Onecta app. Control your indoor climate from anywhere, via smartphone or tablet

Accelerated heating. Quickly heats the home when the air conditioner is switched on. The set temperature is reached 14% faster than with a standard air conditioner.

Flash Streamer. Using electrons to trigger chemical reactions with airborne particles, Flash Streamer breaks down allergens such as pollen and fungi and eliminates unpleasant odours, providing healthier, cleaner air

Titanium apatite photocatalytic deodorising filter. Breaks down unpleasant odours such as tobacco and pet smells.

Silver filter for air purification and allergen removal. Captures allergens such as pollen to provide constantly clean air

Air filter. Removes airborne dust particles, ensuring a constant supply of clean air.

Quiet indoor unit operation. The "silent" button on the remote control lowers the indoor unit's operating sound level by 3 dB(A)

Auto-restart. After a power failure, the unit restarts automatically with its original settings.

Fan speed steps (5 steps). Allow selection of up to the given number of fan speeds.

Automatic fan speed. Automatically selects the fan speed required to reach or maintain the set temperature when the unit is set to automatic climate mode.

Powerful mode. Can be selected for rapid cooling or heating; when powerful mode ends, the unit returns to the previously set mode.

Standby energy saving. Reduces power consumption by approximately 80% in standby mode.

Night mode. Saves energy by preventing overcooling or overheating during the night.

24-hour timer. Can be set to start operation at any time within a 24-hour period

Weekly timer. Can be set to start heating or cooling at any time, on a daily or weekly basis.

Self-diagnosis. Simplifies maintenance by indicating system faults or operating anomalies.

Centralised control. Switches on, switches off and adjusts several air conditioners from a central point. You can also operate your air conditioner using voice commands via Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant, controlling the main functions such as set point, operating mode, fan speed, etc.

The STYLISH air conditioners from Daikin can be purchased to operate as a single split or multi-split system. Each of these 2 options has advantages, which we detail below.

Multi-split system

• Connects up to 5 indoor units to one outdoor unit
• Suitable for houses or flats with limited outdoor space
• Perfect for long-term plans that include installing 2-5 air conditioners.

The multi-split system uses dedicated outdoor units from the MXM range, fitted with a swing compressor renowned for low noise and high energy efficiency.
